The church, rebuilt and enlarged by G.B. Schellino,
in 1864, is in the neo-Gothic style and incorporates
part of the structure of the previous church. The double cabin front,
completely remodelled, has a pointed central portal, beneath a circular,
rose window and a fake, lancet window. The piers and architrave of
the portal (dated 1612), and the two marble forms (Annunciation) walled
into the lunette, are in evident Renaissance style and come from the
antique building. Interesting corner pilasters, ending in cusps, angled
sharply in comparison to the façade.
The interior has three naves (the two lateral ones were added by Schellino),
on polystyle beams. The central nave, very high and narrow, extends
into the presbytery and the apse. Cross vaults on ribs. A tombstone
in the apse bears the date of the 15th of July, 1819,
witness to a previous renovation.
